Desktop Yoga
Desktop yoga, also known as seated yoga, is ideal for the desk-bound, for travelers, truckers, those in rehabilitation or those who are physically challenged. This class will introduce you to a series of effective yoga stretches, all done from the comfort of your chair. You do not need to stand up to reap the benefits of yoga. Learn to mindfully relax, breathe and stretch without getting out of your chair. Your body and your mind will thank you for learning about and practicing chair yoga!
Dr. Andrew Weil, today's guru of healthy aging says, “with seated yoga, the numerous benefits include increased strength and flexibility, improved circulation, and experience with breathing and relaxation techniques.”

Kids Yoga
Treat your child to the same health benefits that have prevailed for thousands of years and is now a booming fitness craze among adults! Physical Strength and Flexibility are just some of the known benefits of yoga. Here a few other reasons why you should consider yoga for your children:
- Teaches children about healthy non-competitive exercise
- Promotes concentration, focus and attention
- Develops inner strength and calm
- Gives your children an opportunity to express themselves through joyful movement
- Builds confidence and self-esteem
- Teaches children self-relaxation and self-control
In our fun and playful classes we will improve strength, flexibility, and coordination using traditional yoga poses, stories, songs and free movement. Children will learn how to focus and center themselves with various breathing and visualization techniques. They will learn how to safely challenge themselves in a non-competitive manner developing a greater respect for themselves and those around them.
Our goal is to introduce your child to the concept that fitness is fun and everyone can do it!. If we can infuse kids with this understanding at an early age, they will develop a life-long skill and positive attitude about health and well being.

Prenatal Yoga
Each class begins with a roundtable where we take time for discussion and friendship. This is an opportunity for each mother-to-be to talk about how she is feeling and ask any questions. There is a special comraderie and closeness that comes during this time and most women find the support to be invaluable.
The discussion is followed by meditation to quiet the mind and bring focus to the body and the woman's growing baby. Then we move in to breathwork, stretching, strength building, and balancing postures that help to prepare the body and mind for the process of giving birth. Each class is a unique experience tailored to all stages of pregnancy. We finish the yoga session with deep rest and relaxation.
